What is Credit Repair?

Credit repair is the process of improving or correcting a credit history that has been damaged due to various factors. This damage to one’s credit standing can arise from a number of issues, such as errors in the credit reports, cases of identity theft, or financial missteps. Correcting these problems might range from simple fixes to more complex financial strategies, depending on the severity of the damage.
How does it work?
- Credit Import
First step in the process is to Import your Credit form all 3 bureaus so that there is a numerical baseline from which to work from where we can track any changes. - Credit Analysis:
Next is to run mock changes through our demo account to see what components contribute to your score, and what marks to address which ones to leave. - Identify the Negative marks:
Our software automatically tags all the negative remarks within each bureau listing. We then filter out based upon ONLY the negative items and set up a strategy for addressing each item. - Send out Dispute Letters:
Dispute letters are the lifeblood of credit repair. Through Debt Validate’s experience and the proper use of Federal laws we incorporated in our dispute letters we are regularly able to many items removed for our customers. Credit Bureaus have become much more sophisticated in their counter measures for dispute letters, however when written accurately and custom for each client you are much more likely to see changes made. - Rinse and Repeat :
The key to most things in life is consistency. That is no different in this application. Most of the time Credit optimization will require a number of “rounds’ of dispute letters to successfully get items removed. This could take several months for meaningful changes.
